Philosophy on the Farm on September 8, 2012
Once a year in Georgia, chiropractic philosophy is combined with an appreciation for the outdoors and the love of animals. This year's event is co-sponsored by the Georgia Council of Chiropractic, and is one month later than previous years which should make the evening weather more pleasant. Featured speakers for this event include Dr. Fred Schofield and Dr. Gary Walsemann. This is an outdoor event. This means you need to bring your own folding chairs, tables, and bug spray. For a complete list of what you should bring, and how you should be prepared, please visit the website for this event at www.philosophyonthefarm.com. How did Philosophy on the Farm get started? Years ago in Florida, Dr. Braile started a yearly philosophy event called Philosophy on the Beach. These events were held on my ocean-front property and included such notable legends in chiropractic who are no longer with us such as Dr. Fred Barge, Dr. Galen Price, Dr. Verne Pierce, Dr. Ian Grassam and many more. Hundreds of DC's and students would show up to these beach-side events for a day of fellowship and fun. When our family relocated to Georgia, I decided to bring this same spirit to my farm. Thus, Philosophy on the Farm was born. The event is FREE. However, donations will be accepted to offset the costs.
